Introduction
Cademy provides multiple views to help you manage your courses and sessions with ease. Whether you're scheduling new dates or reviewing published listings, you can switch between detailed lists and calendar layouts, and use sorting options to stay organised. All tools are located within the Courses page of your Admin Dashboard.
Accessing Views and Sorting
How to Switch Views
Go to your Admin Dashboard
Click on the Courses page
In the top-right corner, you'll see five view buttons - each represents a different layout
Click any of the buttons to switch views instantly
βThese buttons represent: List, Date List, Week, Month, and Timeline views
Course Views Explained
ποΈ List View
Displays all your courses in a structured, sortable list.
βBest for:
Reviewing and editing course settings
Checking visibility, prices, and publishing status
Performing quick admin actions (e.g. edit, archive, duplicate)
π Date List View
Sorts your courses by next upcoming date.
Each course card shows:
Delivery method (e.g. Online, In-person)
Assigned facilitator (if any)
Number of bookings and remaining availability
Best for:
Planning upcoming sessions
Monitoring course activity at a glance
ποΈ Week View
Shows your sessions on a 7-day calendar layout.
βBest for:
Short-term scheduling
Reviewing sessions coming up this week
π Month View
Shows all sessions scheduled in the current month.
βBest for:
Spotting gaps or overlaps across a 4β5 week period
Mid-range planning
π Timeline View
A powerful, Gantt-style layout showing sessions across a horizontal timeline.
You can group sessions by:
Scroll across months and assign facilitators or locations directly.

Large teams
Complex, multi-course schedules
Quickly identifying unassigned sessions
Pop-up Features (Timeline, Week, and Month Views)
Each calendar view offers interactive pop-ups for every session. Click any event to:
View full session details
Edit the date directly
Use the "View Date" button to access the full course date setup
Grouping Memory
When using the Timeline view, your grouping preference (by facilitator, location, or course) is remembered automatically when you return to the view.
Colour Indicators for Availability
Each course session includes a badge indicating current availability:
π‘ Yellow β No bookings
π’ Green β At least one booking
π΄ Red β Fully booked
These indicators appear across both calendar views and the Date List View to provide instant visual insight.
Colour Coding Your Courses
Courses can be colour-coded to help visually distinguish them across views:
Set a default colour for each course in Advanced Settings
To do this, go to the course settings β Advanced Settings β Calendar View Color
Override colours at the date level for more flexibility
To do this, click on the date from the Course Dashboard β click Edit Date β Calendar Color
Sorting Your Courses
Click the Sort button in the top-right corner of the Courses page to organise your course list.

Published
Delivery
Description
Price
Date Created
Date Archived
Collection
Course Owner
Last Updated
Created Time
Sorting Direction:
Ascending (AβZ, oldest to newest)
Descending (ZβA, newest to oldest)
Note: Sorting is available in List View only
